Forward your luggage to make life easier

This is suuuper useful, especially if you have a few bags, but honestly even one large suitcase make this worth it in my opinion. You pay a relatively small amount, like $15-25 maybe depending on the size of the bag, to get it sent on to your next destination. This means that you can pack a light bag, a backpack or tote, whatever, with toiletries and a change of clothes and go about your travel in ease. You move easily on public transport, while a truck takes your luggage to the next hotel for you.

Generally, you can get you bag the next day delivered to your room, it will just be late afternoon/evening. We've never found an issue with this, we have a day or two of clothes in a small bag that we keep and let the main luggage travel without us. It is so much easier. Seriously. Take your big suitcase for one intercity move, even one intracity, and you will realise this is not worth not doing!

There are a few companies I think, we've always used Yamato. Most hotels will be able to organise it at the lobby for you, but you can also do it at most 7/11 if you are not at a hotel.
