They describe themselves as

"a world of artworks without boundaries, a museum without a map created by art collective teamLab.

Artworks move out of rooms, relate to other works, influence each other, and at times intermingle, without boundaries. Through this group of works, one continuous world without boundaries is created."

Essentially, think of it as light art. There are different mediums on which you can "paint" with light, and each renders a different effect. Some parts are interactive, all parts are beautiful. The first time we saw this it was in a temporary exhibit in a different building. I don't think I've been as impressed since that first visit, but that's probably just because of the known quanitity it is.

Definitely worth visiting! Between this and Planets...I would probably go for this, but do both if you have the time.
